Bob moved to Sicamous sixteen years ago to start Sicamous Community Church. He
loves having coffee with people, music and movies! He and his wife Sandra have four grown daughters, one son in law and a granddaughter and a dog named Tia.
Kim Freckleton
Youth Director
Kim has been serving at SCC for 13+ years. She is joyfully married to her husband Jonny and mom to a very energetic little boy. She has a heart for the youth in Sicamous and loves seeing their faces throughout the week at The Hub. Some of her highlight youth events would be Fear Factor (where she accidentally spit in a youths hair), Hunger Games (where she dressed up as as Effie), and the youth events that always end up with everyone piling into McDonalds at the end of the night. She loves meeting with students for coffee, ice cream, slurpees or a meal outside of youth nights. She loves to create or find games where she will often be laughing from the sidelines. It is really important to her that the Hub be a place where all youth feel safe, valued, and seen. Her prayer is that they will come to know and understand the Gospel and what Jesus did for them. To know Kim is to know that her drink of choice will always be coffee and she will always have a book on the go. When she isn’t busy with youth, you’ll find her wrangling her son and enjoying being home (with that book and coffee).
